Join us on Monday, December 10th from 8pm to 9:30pm  at our West Hollywood store for an evening with Sam Rosenthal, reading from his new book Rye.

Brooklyn-based musician Rosenthal turns erotic novelist within the pages of Rye, a steamy, snarky and sensitive walk on the wild side.

Rye is a money-shot across the bow of outdated sensibilities. It takes a sexual somersault through the complexities of desire in a penetrating portrayal of twenty-first century intimacy.

Forty-year-old video artist and father Matt is seeing Rye, a willful and free androgynous thirty-one-year-old school teacher. Attracted to Matt’s kinkiness and groundedness, Rye develops a fetish for his cock and her submission. At a weekend SexxCamp retreat, Matt meets Rain, a snarky twenty-three-year old GenderQueer woman with both an attraction and aversion to sex. The unconventional sex-triangle develops as Matt expands his understanding of his own complexity and desire for connection.

Sam Rosenthal will be reading select passages, answering questions, signing books and hanging out at this free event. Come!
