We’re giving away a Fun Factory Angelo!

The Angelo is an unassuming little vibe with a lot of hidden talents. Rechargeable and made of soft, non-porous silicone, this vibrator has obvious virtues. It also features several speeds and vibration patterns, a slim shape that’s perfect for resting between the legs or cheeks, a curve that’s ideal for G-spotting, and surprisingly stimulating ridges. Plus, the Angelo is fully waterproof – and who doesn’t love a bath?

Want to Win a Fun Factory Angelo? Here’s how.

Check out our new Sex is Back campaign! Sex is Back features videos of people speaking candidly about their sex lives. Their stories are sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking, and sometimes shocking. Watch a few videos, and then leave a comment below telling us which story resonated with you the most. Visit www.sexisback.com to start watching.

A winner will be chosen at random at 10am PDT on Tuesday, October 1st.

The Sex Is Back story that resonated with me the most was April Flores’ story about body positivity, and the perception of fat women. I absolutely loved it and can definitely relate.

When PoeticDesire said that the reason we have such messed up views on sex is because we don’t talk about it, it really rang true to me. I’m glad to hear her voice and others opening the conversation.

This is amazing! Tristan Taormino’s video was cool, but I was really interested in the people talking about pegging. Anne & Flynn’s story was really funny though, and I laughed unbelievably hard at Inness’ fisting story. Poor baby!
What really resonated the most though, was Bill on Black Male Sexuality. Those assumptions about Black Men spill over onto Black women, and the result is that we’re perceived as these primal, wild women in bed-and that’s it. People don’t think we want/need/deserve romance and gentle lovemaking, and I get surprised looks from both non-Black prospective partners and non-Black friends when I display a wider range of sexual interest than they expect, and especially when I blatantly refuse to be degraded.

A few videos really stood out for me, so I’ll discuss them in the order I’ve viewed them. First, Mike’s discussion of electro play was a fantastic comment on the old adage “don’t knock it till you try it”. What was once a hard-limit for him became a regular activity (and career for him) just from the simple act of stepping outside his comfort zone. On the flip side of it is Alyssa and Lanae discussing golden showers. Lanae will not let herself say she doesn’t like something without first trying it, and Alyssa tried it and determined it wasn’t for her. The main point is to explore your sexuality, because you might find something you incorporate frequently into your sexual repertoire.

Second, Julie’s talk on pegging was a perfect example of separating the act from the intent. For her, the whole “domination” aspect of pegging was the problem. A lot of kinks are frequently associated with D/s or M/s dynamics, but that isn’t necessarily so. Especially with pegging, which for sex-negative individuals also has implications of homosexuality (which never made sense to me). Separating the act from the intention (or perceived intention) will prevent a lot of misunderstandings, and give two (or more) individuals a way to play with less hangups.

And finally, Megan’s talk about orgasms was my favorite video of all, as it really addresses the biggest issue when it comes to sexuality. Everyone is different. Everyone experiences things differently. Orgasms are different, kinks are different, fetishes are different. Trying to give one-size-fits-all advice about sex could cause more problems than it solves. That’s why communication with your partner(s) is so important, because then you have an experience especially tailored for the people involved (and ends up being more enjoyable).

The beginning of every video says it best. “We have sex”. Human beings are sexual creatures, and it’s refreshing to be able to watch people talk so openly and candidly about it. It’s fun, it’s messy, it’s stimulating, it’s scary. Embrace it!
