G-spot Basics

by thepleasurechest

The G-spot, also known as the urethral sponge, is the not-so-elusive-as-you-may-think area inside a woman’s vagina that fills with fluid when aroused. It is located at the front/top wall of the vagina and engorges with fluid as the body becomes aroused, which highlights it’s bumpy texture.  Unlike the smoothness of the vaginal canal, the G-spot has a texture similar to the the roof of your mouth.  Pressure applied to the G-spot can feel very pleasurable for some, can even produce an ejaculation of fluid (which is not urine) from the urethra.

To locate the G-spot, insert a finger or fingers 2-3 inches into the vagina and press upward gently towards the belly button using a milking or come-hither motion.  When you find the textured mass, you have located the G-spot! It helps to use lube and for the receiver to be very relaxed and comfortable.

A gentle, upward curve on anything you are using (fingers, toys, or an angled cock) aid in solo or partner g-spot exploration.  Toys that are perfectly designed for G-spot stimulation and Pleasure Chest tested include the Pure Wand, Slimline G, and the Lelo Mona Wave

Clit stimulation during G-spot play can increase arousal, keep the body relaxed and enhance orgasm.

Positioning is crucial for G-spotting during partner penetration. Remember to angle fingers, toys, or penis upward, toward the belly button. Use a pillow, preferably a position pillow like the Liberator Wedge under receiver’s hips to make this angle easier to achieve or have receiver on top for more control with angles.

If you are trying to experience female ejaculation, a.k.a. squirting (it’s not pee!), practice some kegel exercises with a focus on the release to practice bearing down.  Then, during sex, when you feel pressure build up in the G-spot (it will feel like you have to pee) you can pull toy/penis/fingers out of the vaginal canal as you bear down with your muscles.  This motion helps to “milk” the fluid out and it removes any blockage from the urethral opening that can hinder ejaculation.

Bodies will respond differently to different types of stimulation, so experiment with pressure, circular motions, tapping, and vibration of the g-spot to find what feels best.

Your goal should be pleasure, exploration, and fun!
