POT is a community-oriented full-service pottery studio located in Echo Park, Los Angeles. In addition to being owned and operated by two women of color (who are also local LA natives!), POT is an inclusive space for everyone and prioritizes being a safe space to people of color and LGBTQ communities. With the theme of 'radical ceramics,' POT aims to to break down the walls surrounding art, and especially pottery spaces in LA, which generally feel inaccessible to many people. No artist is censored and radical art is highly encouraged!
Geared towards spreading the therapeutic joy of pottery to beginners, we aim to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for students to create a space where people come to laugh, release, dig their hands in, and build up a fire inside.
SEXPOT
So what does ceramics have to do with Sex? Come and find out at SEXPOT, the newest series of ongoing ceramic workshops at POT Studio and Pleasure Chest LA! SEXPOT is a sex-positive, shame-free series of events to encourage gathering of community with a sense of humor and love for all things dirty. This series emerged as an organic evolution for a studio full of punk rock womxn, sluts, and people who simply love all things dirty - including actual pottery.
SEXPOT will be easy introductory pottery workshops where students will learn the fundamentals of pottery in a community environment. Spreading pottery and spreading legs all over LA, we encourage you to stay tuned with this series for many fun workshops to come! ;)

Dildos for ALL!
SEXPOT's first workshop is Ceramic Dildo Making at POT Studio (which has already sold out!) with Mandy & Ambar. In this workshop students will get a full hand-building lesson while also making the dildo of their dreams - a DP of activities if you will!
