If there’s one group of eclectic and knowledgeable folks that you can trust when it comes to sex toys, the Pleasure Chest clientele are that group. While some customers are new to our boutiques, there are a fair share of y’all who have been coming to the Pleasure Chest for advice, sex education and sex toy recommendations for literally 50 years!
Since we opened our doors in 1971, we’ve worked hard to establish a highly curated selection of sex toys for all bodies and orientations across the spectrum. We may have originally started as a store that sold waterbeds (yes, it’s true!) but we’ve grown into one of the most beloved and well-respected small chains of adult stores in the country—and we definitely owe it all to our loyal customers. The folks who browse our stores, come to our workshops and speak to our sex specialists all have a hand in helping us put together a collection of versatile products that can work for anyone, from tried-and-true classics to exciting new toys with modern technology.

Magic Wand Mini
This recent addition to the Magic Wand family of iconic wands was only released in early 2022 but has already become the best-selling sex toy at the Pleasure Chest for 2023! Big on power, small in size, the Magic Wand Mini is the perfect middle ground for folks who crave intense wand vibrations but prefer a more hand-held size. The Mini is a rechargeable wand so it doesn’t need to stay plugged in to work, another bonus for people who want to play more than 6 feet away from the closest outlet.

Sutil Rich Lube
Eco-friendly? Check. Gel-like consistency? Check. Both a staff and customer favorite? Check! Sutil Rich water-based lubricant is our top recommended lube and customers never have enough good things to say about it. This thick lubricant acts like a silicone formula due to its long-lasting ingredients, but since it’s water-based, it’s still compatible with all your favorite silicone sex toys. Sutil Rich is also infused with Horny Goat Weed, a medicinal herb that is sometimes referred to as “natural Viagra.” Wherever placed, this magic stuff increases blood flow to heighten sensation. No wonder we’re all big fans!
Sliquid H2O
Another water-based lubricant that folks can’t get enough of! Sliquid has been making all-natural lubricant for over 20 years. The brand was borne from the need for more intimate lube options that didn’t feature glycerin as one of the main ingredients. Glycerin is found in many lubes (although less today than back in 2002 when Sliquid was founded) and commonly causes irritation. Sliquid H2O removes glycerin entirely from the equation and uses only plant-based ingredients in their products. Fast forward 20 years and it’s one of the best-selling water-based lubes in adult stores across the country!
Sliquid Sassy
Sliquid Sassy is Sliquid H2O’s thicker cousin. Essentially the same formula, but with a more gel-like consistency. Sliquid Sassy is recommended for all sorts of play, but it’s most commonly recommended for anal. It’s moisturizing and provides that little extra cushion many folks crave when it comes to anal penetration.

Magic Wand Rechargeable
Another sibling in the Magic Wand family tops the list! The Magic Wand Rechargeable has essentially been a bestseller since it was released in 2015 and it continues to reign supreme at the Pleasure Chest every year. Who knew folks would want a rechargeable version of their favorite plug-in wand massager? (We did!) Of course the creators wanted to create a rechargeable version as soon as they could, but they had to wait for the technology to catch up to the power that could only be generated by a direct electrical source. And once they finally were able to create a wand that would match (and maybe even overtake) the OG, they did it BIG TIME. At this point we often wonder, who doesn’t have one of these by now?
Swiss Navy Silicone
Well-known for its silky-smooth formula and natural feel, Swiss Navy Silicone lube has been one of our top selling silicone-based lubricants for years. Uberlube

Tenga Egg Hard Boiled
Our most popular disposable manual stroking sleeves are these cute and compact Tenga Eggs from Tenga! They come in a variety of textures (fun fact: the pattern on the outside of the packaging matches the texture on the inside of the sleeve) and even come with a little single serving pack of compatible lube! The Tenga Eggs are excellent for folks just starting out with strokers and even work for Transmasc folks to stimulate bottom growth. InBloom Rosales Sucking Vibe
Ah, the Rose. You’ve probably seen this toy by now, or at least some version of it, and there’s a reason why it’s everywhere. The hype is real! Sliquid Sea
Another Sliquid classic! Sliquid Sea is somewhere in the middle between H2O and Sassy as far as consistency goes. It’s not quite as thin as H2O but not quite as thick as Sassy. Sea has a unique addition in its formula that the others are missing: seaweed extract. This ingredient serves many functions, one of them being for healing micro-tears. With any sort of friction, micro-tears can happen (like when you used harsh exfoliants in your skincare routine). Seaweed extract helps to speed up the healing process and also condition the area. The addition of this ingredient makes Sliquid Sea an excellent option for anal play!
Romp Riot Bullet
The Romp line of toys is a recent addition from the Lovehoney Group who also manufacture the well-known We-Vibe and Womanizer collections of couple’s vibrators and air pressure stimulators.
