the honeycomb-like bulb is super squishy! So much so that insertion was a bit challenging. The ribbing is really nice to glide past and the vibrations are strong and rumbly. Not sure if mine was defective or if it really isn't waterproof, but after I washed it it would intermittently turn on all on its own! Great toy, even if it is haunted
