I really enjoyed this book! It’s close to 400 pages so I appreciated that there are diagrams and illustrations throughout the book to break it up. It really goes step by step to describe techniques for fingering, strap on positions, etc., and there are insights from legends of the industry like Nina Hartley and Jiz Lee! I’m nonbinary and I found this helpful regardless of gender identity, so don’t let the title completely ward you away.
Let me repeat myself. Everyone needs this book. Yes, it is geared toward lesbian relationships/sexuality, but I've never been in a relationship with a woman and I find this book so educating on so many levels. It really opens your eyes to new ways of thinking about things and doing things. It's also kind of coffee-table-book style, so you can almost flip to any page and just read for a few minutes, which I love. This is one of my favorite late-night-I'm-too-tired-to-even-watch-Netflix books. It's got awesome illustrations and is super user-friendly (sort of like a textbook, but way more interesting and fun!).
I won't lie, as a gay trans dude, I was a little dissuaded by the title, but once I opened it, I knew this was an excellent read! This book is very easy to follow, & thankfully encompasses pretty much everything from the mechanics of queer sex (with probably the best chapter on hand sex I've read to date,) to hints about adapting better attitudes & communication behaviors. Best of all, it is seamlessly trans inclusive, which I found quite refreshing.
Finally a book for queer, gender non-conforming people. I was a little put off by the "Girl Sex" title but the contents are spot on and very insightful for us spectrum folks.
