This rope is soft to touch but can rough feeling in action. It also frays very easily so you have to store it properly. If you’re looking to get into rope bondage this is a good starter rope for practicing.

Don’t shell out for the hemp until you know if bondage is something you’re really going to like and want to learn how to do. This rope is really soft, but be careful when tying tightly, because that same softness and elasticity means you can over tighten your knots, especially if it gets wet. Bring a pair of bondage/utility scissors along just in case

So, this is definitely rope. It’s a difficult thing to rate because, at the end of the day, this is a functioning rope and you can do rope related activities with it successfully. The cotton is soft against the skin, and great for someone beginning to experiment with knots and ties. However, the cotton does pill and loosen over time. If this rope is going near moist genitals or any lubricant, it will need some cleaning. It can be washed in the washing machine, but it will lose some luster pretty soon after a wash. It is also $15 rope, so it’s not as if the price is unreasonable for the quality. I think this a wonderful rope for beginners, affordable, and soft. Would be a comfortable choice is someone is doing a decorative rope look like a chest harness or something. Will you take this rope far with you for years? Probably not.

Much softer than hemp, but still holds ties reasonably well. If you’re just starting out with rope bondage, or if you don’t have the money to spend on hemp, this rope is great. I’ve found the material nice for DIY strap on harnesses, as hemp sometimes feels a little rough. At 30', the length is perfect for experimentation, but depending on your body size, one bundle may not be enough, especially for more complex, full body ties or rope corsets. I agree with previous reviewers - the packaging makes me a little uncomfortable.

It has just enough friction to hold knots, but is incredibly soft on the skin! It's like a big ol' rope hug. This is great for beginners that want a luxurious rope feel without having to deal with the seriousness of hemp.

I found the rope far too slippery and loose for both beginners and advanced partners. Also for those who want a challenge to slip out of their bonds these make the work much too easy. The cultural fetishism is also uncomfortable.
It is affordable if nothing else
