The title says it all - this really is a great compilation and “Ultimate Guide to Kink”! I love that there were so many contributors to this book, offering so many different perspectives. It reads both semi-instructional and conversational, and is filled with great anecdotes.

Tristan Taormino did an excellent job curating this book! It's sexy & informative, & it's an anthology, the reader has the benefit of different authors offering different perspectives on lots of kinks. This book provides lots of great nuts & bolts information, but stays far from a dry instructional tone. I like recommending this book along with SM 101. Basically Whereas Weiseman's book is a college course on BDSM with one author, Ultimate Guide to Kink is like a cute brunch with some smart, kinky friends. Highly recommended!

A lot of kink guides get into the how but not the why. It was great to read this to get a sense of WHY people are into kink and it helped me answer a lot of my own questions about my sexuality. It's nice to not feel alone in my desires.
